The Law Office of Judith A. Williams is a family law practice dedicated to helping individuals resolve disputes and reach out of court agreements relating to divorce, division of property, and custody without the high financial and emotional costs of litigation.

Ms. Williams is a trained mediator and collaborative law attorney who knows that there are better alternatives to the bitter litigation and lengthy courtroom battles traditionally associated with divorce. For nearly 10 years, she has devoted her work to helping California families find fair and reasonable solutions to their problems outside the courtroom.

Ms. Williams graduated from Whittier College School of Law in 1995 after spending nearly 30 years working in elementary education, as partner of a nationally recognized Sylvan Learning Center, and as an adoptive mother to three children. By 1996, she had started her own practice, continuing her work with children and families by limiting her practice to family law matters. After nearly 10 years of practice, Ms. Williams is respected for her work and continuing commitment to the alternative dispute resolution approaches of Mediation and Collaborative Law. She has dedicated more than 120 hours to continued legal training in Mediation and Collaborative Law at leading institutions, including Strauss Institute of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms Williams also is a contributing author to the published work, Guardianships & Conservatorships, Continuing Education of the Bar.

As an adoptive mother and experienced educator, Ms. Williams has spent over 40 years understanding families, especially the impact that legal matters like divorce can have on children.
